(San Diego, CA – October 25, 2018) – The San Diego Seals announced today that the team has signed Ethan Schott and Casey Jackson to two-year contracts.
“We were thrilled to have the opportunity to get two players with NLL experience,” said general manager and head coach Patrick Merrill. “We’re excited to see the energy and intelligence that they will bring to (training) camp.”
Schott, 22, played in nine games during the 2017-18 season for the Buffalo Bandits. The right-handed defenseman registered three points and collected 35 loose balls as a rookie. Schott was acquired via trade from Buffalo in July.
Jackson, 28, debuted in the NLL with Vancouver last year. In four games, he registered six goals and four assists. The left-handed forward was taken in the eighth round of the 2018 Expansion Draft.
